Arizona shed 3,700 nonfarm jobs in March (-0.12%) but the Unemployment Rate declined by 0.3 percentage points to 3.3% – one of the lowest unemployment rates ever recorded in the state.

Arizona added 9,700 jobs in January and the Unemployment Rate declined by 0.2 percentage points to 3.7%. Since April 2020, the State has added over 364,100 jobs and regained 101% of its pandemic-related job losses – making it one of only 10 states to have passed its pre-pandemic peak.
